Dschagganath was a metal band project based in Vienna, active from 2014 to 2018, and involving Till Steinberger as guitarist, composer, and visual creator. The band performed in Austria and Hungary and developed a sound rooted in melodic death metal, thrash metal, and nu metal influences.
Inspired by bands such as In Flames, Trivium, and System of a Down, Dschagganath combined melodic structures with aggressive energy and experimental elements, creating a hybrid style that moved across multiple metal subgenres.
Beyond the music itself, Till Steinberger shaped the artistic identity of the project. His work included composition, guitar performance, logo design, merchandise, shirt graphics, and the full visual concept for the band’s releases. This integration of sound and visual design formed the core of Dschagganath’s identity.
In 2018, the band released the EP “Apophänie”, which captures the raw energy and layered songwriting of the project. The EP is available on Spotify and YouTube for listeners who want to explore the music of Dschagganath.
